We have a pulse!

Hi all,
Ok, I am alive and SO sorry for the lack of posting since NOVEMBER! Yikes! I hate bloggers (non-bloggers) like me! It started in late December (the week of Chrismtas) with the premptive "we are out of grant money, you will lose your job, just don't know when" talk. It went downhill from there. 3 weeks later, I did get a new job, at WUSTL, before I lost my old one (lay offs happened in my old lab this past week). It has been a VERY rough transition. The new job has nothing to do with my old one, my skills are all but useless, I am on a HUGE learning curve! I also have a micromanager boss who is otherwise pretty cool! Strange times, but I am relying on God and DO see Him providing for me. The holidays were very good (but I was depressed about being unemployed soon). In keeping with tradition, New Years was spent with Katie (and other fantastic people)....long time running, that tradition is. Otherwise, things are good! I will be an aunt in late August, I hope to paint my home soon (finally), got a cute hair cut last week, loving my dgroup and book club girls.....and baseball starts in about 6 weeks.
